But even a bad baseball player will hit a home run once in a while.

User Info: Hemerukio. LightningAce11 posted But consider the power filler amazing? Because Power was good. A lot of the rest Especially a majority of the flashback fillers.

Certified Gilgamesh simp. User Info: asdf For me, its just the fact that Im sick of them. Every time I turn around theres a filler. Some flashbacks are even made into almost the whole episode.

I could deal with a bad filler if isnt wasnt for so many prevalent in the anime and those damn flashbacks. User Info: metalshadow2k4. Power had amazing animation. That's the main thing people praised about it. Plot-wise it was Nobody considers Chikara to be amazing. The stupid children made me want to jump into the anime from my monitor just to kill all of them. Only redeemable part of it was final battle.

If people are watching it weekly as its airing or wait for episodes to come then i guess it would be very annoying when there are fillers. But if you're bingeing the series and see which ones to skip then its not really a big deal. On the other hand i heard some people accidently watch the fillers without knowing while bingeing, and there are some people who dont want to skip them and sit through it.

It can get annoying when a certain flashback is shown for the 5th time. I dont know, I love fillers and I feel like they are A necessary part of enjoyment. Because I watched it when it was airing. For me most fillers are ok quality wise. They are not always excellent nor serious but some filler arcs are pretty heavy with interesting background info of some characters.

What affects the most is the pacing of the series since some fillers abruptly interrupt the flow of the sequence. Watching it while airing was surely a let down since sometimes it took around six months to come back to the regular path. For me it is better to imagine fillers as OVAs from seasonal animes.

You can skip them and watch them at the end or just check with someone if they are worth watching. I watched Naruto when it was airing, so looking forward to an episode, and then finding out its a pointless episode that had little to do with the original sorry was quite disappointing. You're right, just skip them if the anime has finished airing. But when it's airing it's quite annoying to watch fillers. Because they don't contribute to the story, they are a waste of time, and if there were no fillers the anime would be better and shorter.

Truthfully yeah the filler arcs were way more annoying when NS was still airing since it meant many months of having of the main storyline being on hiatus, but even now I hate the fillers on principle since in hindsight many of them weren't really needed; if the anime's direction and writers had just paced themselves instead of adapting 2 or 3 chapters per episode in the main arcs, most of the filler arcs wouldn't have been necessary to begin with.
